Our most recent MRI showed that Kyra's tumor is showing "significant reduction!" in all areas. The tumor in her ventricles has decreased since her MRI in January and the spine shows almost no signs of tumor.
Because we want to put off very aggressive chemotherapy/radiation treatments, we have researched the oils Frankincense and Sandalwood. Both are known to pass through the blood-brain barrier and have been effective in reducing other types of cancers. We began using the oils in January and we believe that these oils, in combination with many, many prayers, are responsible for Kyra's latest reduction. The treatment does come with some slight nausea and fatigue but we thank God for giving us an option for Kyra that does not involve all of the horrible side effects of chemotherapy and radiation!

My name is Kyra Elizabeth Dinkins. I am 5-years old! I have been recently diagnosed with brain cancer. The tumor that I have is close to the optic nerve, so it makes it too dangerous to remove. Surgery is not an option because of risks to my eyesight and health. While the doctors are still trying to determine the best form of treatment for me, I am requiring a lot of medical attention that is very expensive.
My mommy isn’t working right now since I need her at home to take care of me and my little brother, Matthew. My family and friends are trying to raise money for the medical care that I will need now and in the future that will help make me better. I was born deaf and have a cochlear implant that helps me to hear. Plus, I know sign language so I can talk with other people that know sign language, like some of the doctors and nurses that are helping me. But what I really need most of all is your prayers. Did you know that God can understand sign language just like me?
